Lisa Swain

Asw. Swain was an active member of her Fair Lawn community well before her swearing in to the Legislature. She served on Borough Council for ten years immediately prior to her legislative service and was selected as Mayor by her peers twice in that time.
Asw. Swain has a long history of community service, working closely with the Fair Lawn Economic Development Corporation, Arts Council, and Green Team, in addition to actively fundraising to build an inclusionary playground in town.
In her time in the Assembly, Asw. Swain has championed issues around the environment, safety, and access to healthcare.
